Since 2017 when the WTO Trade Facilitation Agreement (TFA) came into force Mongolia is paying great attention to implementing trade facilitation measures that are considered of high priority for a landlocked country. In order to facilitate and ensure smooth implementation process of TFA in Mongolia, the project “Trade Related Assistance for Mongolia” (TRAM) which is funded by the European Union has provided significant support to the Mongolian National Trade Facilitation Committee and especially, to the Mongolian Customs Administration. TRAM aims to increase the capacity of the Government to better facilitate trade through a range of measures that reduce trade costs and ease the rapid movement of legitimate import and export of goods and services.
Today, as a result of our cooperation, we are pleased to present you this publication "Glossary of Trade Facilitation Terms" for nationwide utilisation. The Glossary is considered indispensable not only for public sector responsible for adopting regulations that facilitate international trade but also for companies running foreign trade business and for Universities and their students.
