Workshop on the EU simplified procedures was held online on 7, 8, and 10 June 2021 under the auspices of the Trade Related Assistance to Mongolia Project. Ms.Carmen Fratita, the team leader of the EU TRAM project and Mr.Dorjdagva, the Director Media, training, research center made opening remarks, emphasizing the importance of the topic in the effort of the customs organization to further facilitate legitimate trade. Mr.Marian Chodak, an expert from the EU, carried out the workshop and covered areas such as customs simplification and its benefits, simplifications in transit procedures, simplified declaration, common procedures in all simplifications and authorized consignor/consignee among others.The workshop was attended by customs officers from the Customs General Administration as well as branch customs. The knowledge gained during this workshop will be beneficial in the continued reform effort of the customs organization.
