Despite the strict lockdown in Mongolia (COVID-19),TRAM project is ensuring its smooth implementation of the planned activities under its AWP2020. On 19 November 2020, the online training on REX system and Customs simplified procedures has been successfully organized with attendants of total 43 customs officers. The training was opened by Ms. Carmen Fratita, team leader of TRAM project and national trainers Ms. Tsendsuren and Ms. Narandari delivered presentations on TFA benefits to traders and publication and availability of information specified under TFA. For afternoon session, Mr. Vladimir Pisar, TRAM short term expert explained the Customs Simplified Procedures along with particular cases and EU new practices on customs procedures related to COVID-19. The training was much appreciated by the audience and exchanged views with the trainer on possible measures that Mongolian Customs can adopt due to COVID-19.
