TRAM has commissioned the research study: “Export financing for Mongolian SMEs – Options to mitigate COVID-19 impact and for medium-term capacity development”. The research study was elaborated by our partner European-Mongolian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (EuroChamber) in cooperation with the MNCCI.

The key observation and finding from a survey among exporting companies (mainly non-mining) is that in case suitable export financing would be available to them, Mongolian non-mining exporters could increase their export volume by 50 to 80 percent.

on 28 August 2020, the results of the study was presented and discussed among the delegates from MNCCI, MFA, MoFALI, EU Delegation office, commercials banks and TRAM experts for possible follow up actions.
