In April this year EU TRAM project has restarted the activity related to the creation of a trade database in MFA. A local short-term expert, Dr.Nomintsetseg has started to provide two weeks training on using GTAP database in performing different trade analysis with concrete simulation case on trade relations between Mongolia and EAEU. More that 25 participants from MFA, NSO, MoFALI, Customs Administration, MNCCI are attending the training. A Working Group on trade and statistics providers is created in order to ensure that MFA will have all information needed to prepare discussion/negotiation position of Mongolia for different trade related meetings at the bilateral, regional and multilateral level.
